It was morning and you were, like always, the one to wake up fisrt before your British boyfriend, Arthur. It was only one reason to why you were the first. Arthur couldn't cook to save his life. You truly loved him, but leaving him in a kitchen meant just a huge explosion. You were currently making breakfast for him and hoping he would like it. He was kind of picky when it came to food. When it came to food he always said that Britisg food is the best and that French is the worst. He said it maybe because of that blond Frenchman who always teased him.
Arthur may not be the best at cooking, but he was sure the best at others things……Like pleasing you and making you smile. After finishing the food you walked with the food on a plate to the room you two shared, knocking before entering.
"Hey Artie! Wake up, breakfast is ready." You said with a bright smile. Fisrt he groaned and rubbed his eyes, still half asleep.
"H-Hello there, love. Why are you always the fisrt one to wake up?" he asked yawning and scratching the back of his head.
"No reason, really." You said with an innocent face. You couldn't said to him just bluntly that he was the worst at cooking. It would break his heart and knowing everyone said that to him, hearing it from his girlfriend would be like in this dramas. You sure don't want something like this to happen, so keeping your mouth shut is the best. Setting the plate with the food on the nightstand you handed him a cup of tea.
"Thank you, love." He said giving you a smile before drinking a little bit of tea. After he finished eating, silence grew and you saw a bit of sadness forming on his face.
"What's wrong, Arthur?" you asked, worried that something might be wrong. He sighed then speaked up.
"I know why you wake up first." He said, his voice sad and low. You were kind of nervous. He couldn't have found, right? Then again, Arthur was very smart and he could figure out almost everything.
"My cooking is the worst, right?" he asked, the tone of his voice didn't changed and he kept his head down. You tried forming out words. What should you do? Say the truth? It would break his heart. Lie to him? That would make him think you are untrustworthy.
"I knew it. You think so." He said, looking away, a tear fell down on the blanket. Now you were feeling guilty.
"L-Look……I-Is true…..But you're better at other things." You said, cupping his cheeks, making him look at you.
"Not many people know how to cook and they live great. I love you for who you are and I don't care. Sure, woman prefer men who know cooking, but…..They also prefer great, loyal and gentleman like ones. Just how you are." You said then kissed his lips. After pulling away a small smile formed on his face.
"Thank you, love. You always know how to make me smile." He said, then pulled you into a tight hug.
Who said a man who cannot cook is a lame lover? Scratch that! Gentleman for you and other lucky ladies~

"___________," you heard Arthur say. Your eyes turn to him not moving a lot since your body ached when you moved. You came down with a very bad sickness. The condition worsened over the years and all you really do is sleep. You were constantly coughing making your throat hurt so sometimes you couldn't even rest peacefully. "Please drink this it'll help your throat," Arthur said pouring some tea into a cup and then hands it to you. You smile weakly at him and grab the cup taking a small sip before putting it down.
"Arthur why don't you just have the nurses and doctors take care of me an

"No Arthur! I've had it! I want you out of here before I come home from work! And take all of your stuff! I don't want you to leave a single thing because we're through!" you screamed, tears pouring from your eyes. Your boyfriend, Arthur Kirkland, had been going out of his way to ignore you for weeks. Every night he would come home extremely late and not utter a single word to you, not even a goodnight. It was driving you up the wall.
"Love please! Let me explain!" Arthur begged, practically in tears.
You shook your head and slung your bag over your shoulder, tears rolling down your cheeks "No! I don't want to hear it! Why don't you just go r
